The State Bureau of Investigation summoned Minister of Finance Oksana Markarova for questioning, UNN reports.

The interrogation of Markarova is connected with the investigation of the PrivatBank case.

"I was officially summoned for interrogation ... in the case of Privatbank," Markarova announced.

On April 18, it became known that the District Administrative Court of Kyiv satisfied the claim of Igor Kolomoisky against the National Bank of Ukraine and the Cabinet of Ministers on the nationalization of PrivatBank. Thus, the nationalization of the bank was declared illegal.

The court ruling noted that the National Bank of Ukraine and the Cabinet of Ministers did not provide sufficient evidence of PrivatBank's insolvency.

Then the court made another decision in favor of the former owners of PrivatBank and canceled Kolomoisky's guarantee on PrivatBank loans.

Earlier Permanent Court of Arbitration in the Hague refused the Russian Federation to review issues related to the questions of jurisdiction and violations of obligations on the PrivatBank action within lost assets in Crimea.

"PrivatBank is glad to inform that the Permanent Court of Arbitration in the Hague in the case concerning investment protection against the Russian Federation refused Russia to review the solved issues related to the questions of jurisdiction and violations of obligations, as it is stated in the interim arbitral award as of February 24, 2017 and partial arbitral award as of February 4, 2019," says the message.
