Ukraine is currently doing the right thing, as it chooses not to supply water to the annexed Crimea; there will be no changes on this issue. Anton Korinevych, the permanent envoy of President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea said this in his interview with Segodnya.
According to him, there are no reasons to resume the drinking water to Crimea.
"Ukraine has to apply the available pressure mechanisms on the occupant state. To this country, this issue, of course, is an important one because it actually concerns the household activity in Crimea. In this situation, we cannot be possibly discussing the resumption of water supplies to the North Crimean channel in Crimea. I believe this is a sure position", Korinevych said.
According to him, it also concerns supplying power to Crimea from mainland Ukraine.
