Autumn military conscription starts in Ukraine: over 15,000 to be drafted

Autumn military conscription has begun in Ukraine on October 1. The governmental order from September 29 states this.

It is noted that 15,200 people will be sent for military service. The majority of the recruits - 9,000 - will be sent to the Armed Forces of Ukraine;800 - to the State Service of Ukraine for Transport Safety; 4,400 - to the State Border Guard Service; 1,000 - to the National Guard of Ukraine.  

The autumn draft for military service will continue until December 31.

As it was reported earlier, autumn military draft of Ukraine 2017 enlisted over 12,000 conscripts.

Earlier, the names of Ukrainian soldiers deceased near Pavlopil after the hostile attack were revealed. Four soldiers of the 36th Mechanized Brigade of the Marine Corps died in the result of the hostile attacks. Able seaman Oleksandr Sharko, seaman Vladyslav Rak, soldier Serhy Shanda and seaman Vasyl Kudrov lost their lives.

On August 6, the militants shelled the Ukrainian positions near Pavlopil in Donbas. Four Ukrainian soldiers sustained wounds incompatible with life and died at the site. They conducted engineering works at the time.
