General Prosecutor's Office should sign the suspicions to the judges of Kyiv District Administrative Court. But the final decision is unknown. This was stated by Serhiy Horbatiuk, the head of the Office of Special Investigations of the General Prosecutor’s Office (GPO), as Deutsche Welle reported.

As it is reported, the suspicions to the judges have to be signed by the General Prosecutor or his Deputy.

"The suspicions are sent for signature to new Deputy Prosecutor Serhiy Kiz now. These are the rules. We send documents to this person for the first time, that is why we do not know yet how quickly the investigation would be and what the results we would get," Horbatiuk said.

He noted that the former deputies, who were heading the Office of Special Investigations of the GPO during the last year "did not sign any suspicions to judges, however, there were more than 10 documents, including on the Maidan cases."

Horbatiuk added he is planning to make searches not only in the building of Kyiv District Administrative Court but also in the judges' cabinets. However, according to him, part of these searches are not supported by the management of the GPO.

July 26, detectives of National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) and officers of the Special Investigation Department of the GPO conducted searches in the premises of Kyiv District Administrative Court.  Horbatiuk and NABU head Artem Sytnyk explained that the searches were conducted due to the suspicion of interference of the court's leadership in the work of state bodies. The prosecutors prepared suspicions of four judges and directed them to the Prosecutor General. Kyiv District Administrative Court called the searches "unlawful."
