Ukraine’s parliament might consider draft budget 2020 on October 18

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will consider the draft budget for 2020 approximately on October 18 as 112 Ukraine reported citing Parliament’s Speaker Dmytro Razumkov.

“On September 20, the draft state budget was presented and I would like to remind all MPs that their offers should be submitted until October 1; the budget committee should elaborate them until October 15 and the draft budget 2020 will be submitted for the first reading at the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine approximately on October 18, 2019,” Razumkov said.

According to the regulation of the Verkhovna Rada, the parliament should consider the draft state budget for the next year until October 20, 2019.

On September 15, 2019, the draft budget 2020 was registered at the Verkhovna Rada.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky instructed the Cabinet of Ministers to draw up a bill on the land market by October and entrusted the Verkhovna Rada to adopt it and lift the moratorium on agricultural land sale by December 2019.
